Pakistan Ministry of Human Rights and PPRI Launch Women Empowerment Initiative

Islamabad, February 14, 2025 – The Ministry of Human Rights, Government of Pakistan, has officially collaborated with the Perspective Policy Research Institute (PPRI) under the UK-Pak Synergy Project to promote women empowerment. This initiative, supported by the British Council, aims to foster leadership, mentorship, and professional development for women researchers and professionals in Pakistan. As part of this collaboration, Dr. Muhammad Arif, Director (IC) at the Ministry of Human Rights, has been appointed as the focal person for the project. This partnership underscores the government’s commitment to advancing gender equity through research collaboration, leadership training, and remote PhD opportunities for women across the country.
