The proposed Transnational Synergy project may generate various forms of intellectual property (IP), and several specific measures have been planned to safeguard these assets, including:
- Copyright Protection: Secure copyright for published papers and research outputs, with clearly defined authorship and publication rights established in project agreements.
- Protection of Training Materials: Ensure copyright protection for training modules, workshop materials, and course content developed for PhD programs and leadership training.
- Patent Registration: Pursue patent registration for any novel tools, processes, methodologies, or software developed under the project.
- Copyright for Digital Platforms: Protect the copyrights of online platforms or databases created to facilitate collaboration and research sharing.
- IP Ownership and Usage Policy: Establish a clear policy defining the ownership, usage rights, and management of IP among UK and Pakistani partners.
- Confidentiality Measures: Safeguard sensitive information during research and development through Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
- Licensing Agreements: Develop licensing agreements for the use of IP created during the project, including strategies for commercializing educational resources or methodologies, with potential markets and partners identified.
These IP protection measures will ensure effective collaboration and utilization of project outputs while safeguarding the intellectual property created or developed throughout the project and beyond.
